Hands so little
Yet able to grasp
‘The little things’
...Such a tiny soul
For such a big heart
Reflecting on an innocent giggle
Like life’s most melodic doorbell...
And an adorable smile
That rivals the most refreshing sunrise...
To watch them run
And chase their joy
To see them eat and grow 
‘Day by day’
To hold them close
Their youth overflowing
To sit with them
Looking over their small body
And then read them a story
To simply and fiercely love them
