“Dozing off on a Rain Day”
Muzzle on the rug or a cool tile floor
Ate my breakfast and went outside
Then moseyed back through the door
Lightning or thunder I don’t really mind
Daddy taught me to be chill,
to stretch out and unwind
So I found a comfy place
To rest my yawning face
And listen to the rain drops
Not knowing when this all stops
Because I’m dreaming
