“Destined Displacements”

One of my dreams of being able to create something to serve as a beacon of hope, inspiration & gratefulness is now being realized in the best way... two of my organic mosaics and their respective narratives have been selected to be on display at the IU Simon Cancer Center and then make their way to the Harrison Center in downtown Indianapolis this coming October. “Wayward Spring” and “Concluding Meadows of Yellow” were part of my debut 2017 solo exhibit, “Assemblies of Empathy.” Despite talks of having that exhibit travel to other galleries, I had to shelf that endeavor and focus on my health. Being able to bounce back this year and embrace this opportunity lays the foundation to potentially have my work on display to lift up others in different Comprehensive Cancer Center Hospitals all over the country. Someone half-kidding said this could be great for one of my 17 careers... she’s not wrong :) More info on the upcoming exhibit and this beautiful collaboration to come, so stay tuned :)
